Hi Everyone,
I am developing a program for adrotator. I want to call some of the *.swf(flash file) for particular time interval. Each file should display for a particular time and then change the ad file. Pls tell me something abt the subject.

Thanks

What do you have in mind for the ad rotator?

What sort of features are you looking for? The first thing that you need to do with any kind of software development is know where you are going. It isn't to say that it won't change in mid stream, but it sure would be nicer if you didn't have to.

So is this banner rotator supposed to simply rotate ads, is it going to be for revenue, how much control do you want to have over the rotation? Are some ads more important than others?

The next thing you need to do for software development is write out the "code" in plain english. Example.

If the page loads then show an ad.
If the ad has been loaded for 5 seconds, show another ad
If a link is clicked, stop showing all ads

With your logic in written order, top to bottom, taking into account as many possibilities as you can guess, then you can simply translate that into real syntax.

So the first thing that I want you to post here is the text file that contains the information that you will use in your ads. Many websites (http://www.4guysfromrolla.com/webtech/061399-4.shtml) have good starters on that, so there isn't any need to redo them here.

With that finished, post your next question. Good Luck!

The example on 4GuysFromRolla is a terrific example.
Also keep in mind that we sell a banner manager,
Pilot Skywriter: http://www.aspilot.com/pilot.asp?pg=products&specific=jnophrq8.

We'll have an advanced version with click-through counting, impression limitations and more very soon.

No joke. The example is using a hokey little rythm, nowhere near the professionalism of the product that we offer and have plans to offer. But for learning and beginning it is a great step.
